Sync goes through a private database in your own iCloud account. We can’t see it or reach it.
Turn it on
On each device:
- Make sure you’re signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on every device.
- Open Settings › Sync and turn on Sync with iCloud.
Sync is a switch per device, so turn it on wherever you use Billine. Changes go up and come down by themselves; Sync now asks iCloud right away.
What the status line means
| It says | It means |
|---|---|
| Up to date | This device has everything, as of the time shown. |
| A number of changes waiting to sync | Changes made here haven’t reached iCloud yet. They will when you’re online. |
| Your iCloud storage is full | Changes wait on this device until there’s room in iCloud. |
| Sign in to iCloud, or iCloud is restricted | This device isn’t signed in to iCloud, or Screen Time restricts it. |
Billine works fully offline. Changes wait on the device and go up when it’s back online.
When two devices disagree
If you change the same thing on two devices before they sync, the later change wins. A completion always counts, and a deleted task never comes back. Every change that replaced another is listed in Settings › Sync › Changes made on two devices, and in the task’s History, so nothing disappears without a trace.
Where it’s stored
In Billine’s private space in your iCloud, attached files included, counting toward your iCloud storage. To remove it, manage Billine’s storage in your iCloud settings.
